To encourage scientific attitude and research, the school has attached itself to ATAL TINKERING LABORATORY (ATL), a program run under NITI AAYOG to foster curiosity and innovative mindset in young students, celebrate success, promote a “can do “ attitude and inspire to achieve their best. These objectives of ATL are well supported by Vice Principal Sri.D.Sundaresh, ATL in – charge who always remains supportive in all the academic endeavour of the students. The environment of V.V.S.B.M.Sri.E.I. is very conducive to the holistic growth of the students with noble aspirations and the institution has witnessed achievers in athletics, music and literature.
The Swatch Bharath Mission is a countrywide campaign initiated by the Government of India in 2014 to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management. In this regard, our school has taken the initiative to launch a propaganda and to create a massive public awareness. To this end, an intensive campaign in cleanliness has been planned and inaugurated by the Mysuru Rajamatha Smt. Pramoda Devi Wodeyar and International cricket player Sri. Javagal Srinath In the pilot project our school is one of the ambassador schools.

The Institution aims at such exemplar training by providing a pristine platform for competency and seamlessly integrated experiential learning under the pedagogical leadership of the Principal Sri.N.Ramesh.
A group of students presented a drama under guidance and direction of Smt. H S Kavitha and won first prize with cash award of Rs. 5000/-. Story, screenplay and dialogues was written by Sri N Ramesh, Principal.
Kum. Namya K M was awarded “YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD” during this academic year 2021-22. The young scientist was honoured by the honourable ministers at Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bengaluru.
Chi. Rohith S of class 8 secured 3rd place in JIGNASA VIGNANA conducted by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and was awarded with a cash prize worth Rs. 10,000/- and a certificate.
