Indian Association of Physics Teachers, is that organisation that fosters pure science studies and research. National Standard Examination(NSE) is conducted by IAPT in Physics, Chemistry,Biology and Astronomy. Junior Science Olympiad is the first stage for the International Olympiad.

After the Junior Science Olympiad exams, the conduct and selection process for the International Junior Science Olympiad is taken up by Homi Bhaba Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai.

But in October 2023, this huge responsibility was shifted to the safe hands of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Bangalore. Thenceforth it has started functioning  under the official  name of IAPT JSO Vidyavardhaka Sangha Centre at Basaveshwaranagar Campus.

A group of SIX students were selected at the National Level and the predeparture camp was held at VVS Centre. International Junior Science Olympia 2023 was held at Bangkok, Thailand. The selected students who represented India are: Mr. Divya Agarwal, Mr. Kanishk Jain, Mr. Mahroof Ahmed Khan, Mr. Rudra Pethani, Mr. Sonam Amit Pednekar and Mr. Archit Bipin Bhalodiya. Five of the Six won gold medals.

This new venture will in the coming days create finer spaces for Innovation and Research. Wishing the IAPT JSO VVS Team the best of best luck for all their future endeavours.
